equifax. experts say that none of the data from either hack, the march hack or the much bigger summer one is on sale on any hacker forum. the hackers broke into equifax to get money exchange for all of our social security numbers, birth dates, names, addresses, all of that data would be floating around for sale. some experts see the lack of commercial activity as an instance that the state-sponsored group is behind that big may-july theft that affected 40 million americans. the theory is a hack that big and sophisticated must be the work of a governmental organization. jon: that s not exact the welcome news. what are people supposed to do? 140 million americans, that s a lot of folks. it certainly is pure and was really frustrating is in many cases, you didn t even sign up to be a customer of the equifax or any of its peers like trans union or experian and you apply for a car loan, chances are they

it was for them, no, i don t think all of this matters yet. but at some point americans care about justice and they care about fairness. and if they see someone like donald trump or jared kushner, any of that family, getting away with what some have speculated they have been getting away with, then i think the tide turns. what about the actual business of running the country, elise? what happens with all these distractions as they keep bubbling up? can the business of running the country move forward? well, alex, that s really been the problem that we ve seen. this white house has attempted on numerous occasions to have a themed week. this week was made in america week. we weren t talking so much about products that were made in america as we were talking about the various trump scandals, and also when white house staff is so consumed by responding to these to a crisis of the day, they re not able to sit down and do the work and do the planning that is required for a white
gotten it wrong, then at some point americans just turn off the media. they stop listening to us. joe, i think there s no question that what was perceived as the elite media s bias against trump by a lot of his supporters deepened their support for him. i think that we ll look at this just as clinton supporters will look at what happened and will assess how we cover politics. all of that introspection doesn t go to the heart of the matter which is can president trump take this divided country and pull it together? watching him on his victory tour, there are moments you think he really wants to be liked by everybody. not just by the people he voted for. if that s true, then he s a smart politician. he ll figure out ways to speak to the country as a whole. i tell you the first thing i would do, i would bring my team in, and i would say you won.
