In west philadelphia. It left a 19 jerold suspect critically injured. It happened just before 9 00 last night on the 5600 block of media street, in carol park. Investigators say, witnesses called 911 after seeing a man walking down the street with a gun in his hand. Officers responded immediately to the assignment, and they saw a male fitting the description, who had a gun in his hand, so very good chance he was about to do something with that gun. People dont normally walk the streets with a gun in their hands. Authorities say, the officers fired after the suspect pointed his weapon toward them. Police recovered that weapon at the scene. No officers were injured in the shooting.
