Poco entered the smartphone market in 2018 and disrupted the sub-Rs 25,000 category with the Poco F1 which has achieved a cult status among smartphone enthusiasts since then. The smartphone brand took a big decision last year when it decided to separate from Xiaomi and find its own path in a crowded market. The results are starting to show. It has emerged as the fastest growing smartphone brand among the top 10 brands in India, as per an IDC report

Rumours of a Redmi gaming smartphone are at an all-time high at the moment. With Realme doubling down on affordable yet powerful smartphones, it is Redmi that seems to play catch-up to satisfy demands of the mobile gaming community. While the complete specifications sheet is yet to come out, leaks now suggest that this phone could make it to India under Poco’s umbrella. Yes, this phone could sit above the new Poco X3 Pro. The tip comes from Digital Chat Station, who has been quite reliable in the past for Xiaomi-based leaks. It carries a codename of “Ares” and its code number matches that of another phone that could launch as a Poco device in India. Mi 11, Mi 11X series, Mi Band 6, and IoT products might launch alongside Mi 11 Ultra in India on April 23
Earlier today, Xiaomi announced that the company will launch Mi 11 Ultra in India on April 24th. But, Mi 11 Ultra may not be the only product to launch in the upcoming Xiaomi event. Similar to China, and the Global launch event, we might see a host of new devices from Xiaomi in India. FoneArena, from sources close to it, has learnt that Xiaomi might launch as many as four Mi 11 series smartphones, Mi Band 6, a smartwatch, and a few more IoT products in 23rd April event.
