The developer is due to start work on the next phase of the Ma6nitude logistics scheme early next year following a spike in demand for speculative industrial space.
Tritax Symmetry, part of Tritax Big Box REIT, already has consent for the two units off Pochin Way, next to the existing warehouse used by B&M.
Construction of the units, designed by AEW Architects and measuring 149,000 sq ft and 41,000 sq ft, is being accelerated in response to a shortage of logistics space in the region, fuelled by spiralling demand.
Both units will be constructed speculatively and Tritax said there has already been “positive occupier interest” in the development.
