House Speaker Mac McCutcheon said Thursday he expects a plan for a lottery and six new casinos in Alabama to come up for a vote before the legislative session ends on May 17. McCutcheon spoke to reporters Thursday after the House wrapped up its meetings for the week. Lawmakers return Tuesday and Thursday, then take a week off before the last day.
