Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually laid foundation stone for the redevelopment of 21 stations in Odisha at an investment of Rs 900 crore under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme. The redeveloped stations will have better accessibility, air concourse, wider foot over bridges (FOBs), waiting areas, toilets, lift, escalator and other passenger amenities, free Wi-Fi, kiosks for local products, enhanced passenger information systems, facilities for persons with disabilities and food plazas.
