The Conservative group’s chances of gaining enough guaranteed support for a working majority on Plymouth City Council look to be on a knife-edge.
That means the group has to rely on support from at least three of the seven Independents.
Five of them are former members of the Conservative group who left in October 2020 due to differences with the leadership, but remained members of the Conservative Party.
