Being able to afford and cook a hot meal is something many of us take for granted.
Unfortunately, for some people in Plymouth, it’s a rarity.
But thanks to an inspiring group of kind-hearted Plymothians, people who are homeless, hungry or just down on their luck can have a hot meal and pastoral care in a safe non-judgemental environment right here in the city.
FULLHRH (which stands for Feeding the Unfortunate, Lost, Lonely, Hungry, Rough sleepers and Homeless) is run by former submariner Andy Metcalf and serving submariner Jonathan Daniels.

We may not be clapping anymore, but support and gratitude for NHS staff has never been more important.
Of course, that extends to the wonderful volunteers who give up their time to help things run smoothly.
It’s at these centres, such as Home Park, where Plymothians are putting themselves forward to assist in this big fight.
58-year-old David Elworthy found himself to be ‘pretty free’ in terms of time, following an interesting career as a senior police officer and working for the Home Office.
