Elk Grove Village, Ill. Equipment distributor Plustech Inc. completed its move to a 138,000-square-foot facility constructed a few miles from Chicago s O Hare Airport.
Founded in 2004 as a joint venture between Sodick Co. Ltd. and Yamazen Corp., Plustech s new North American headquarters site features a 13,000-square-foot production-style showroom to display up to 30 machines; a 17,000-square-foot turn-key robotics lab; 50,000 square feet of warehouse space; and offices, conference rooms and a cafeteria.
Plustech can now house a complete inventory of modular injection units and show visitors different machine configurations.
The showroom also allows Plustech to continue 35-40 mold trials a year and has space to do more.
