100 Years Ago 11 GRADUATES OF SOUDERTON SCHOOLS — Eleven members of the class will receive their diplomas on Commencement Day, June 10th . Following the annual custom, the Junior Class will tender a banquet in honor of the Seniors on Friday evening, June 3rd, to which teachers and directors are invited. STORES WILL CLOSE WEDNESDAYS AT NOON  — The custom started last year in this town of closing stores and business places on Wednesday afternoons during the summer months will again be followed out this year . The movement is made in order to allow the clerks to have the same half holiday as most people who work in factories and other places, and this will be followed out beginning with next week.
