Young black men in Brent supported to reach career goals with new programme

A PROGRAMME launched to help young black men succeed has worked with over 100 of them, and helped them reach their career goals.
Since launching in January 2020, the Moving On Up programme has helped 62 black men between the ages of 16-24 years old into employment.
To date, the programme has worked with 166 job seekers.
In September last year, Brent Council secured another £326,000 worth of additional funding for new developments in the borough, with hopes of expanding the project until April 2023.
