Thomson Computing has partnered with ANA Business Ventures for government and enterprise facing distribution and with Digital Compusystems for retail distribution while its products will be available on all key e-commerce platforms for online distribution, it added.
Minister for Electronics and Information Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted that 23 of these endorsed companies are poised to commence manufacturing operations immediately.
The initiative comes after the Centre recently introduced an import licensing regime for IT products, reflecting efforts to promote local manufacturing and reduce dependence on imports in the technology sector.
