State health order causes Berryessa campgrounds to close
LAKE BERRYESSA Campgrounds at Lake Berryessa will be closed due to the state’s more restrictive stay-at-home order.
However, “day-use areas and boat launches will remain open unless already closed due to the LNU Lightning Complex Fire incident,” the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation announced Friday.
“In support of the California Regional Stay-At-Home order and requests from Napa County health officials, all campgrounds will temporarily close until further notice. Camping and cabins will be closed at all concession areas including Markley Cove Resort, Pleasure Cove Marina, Steele Canyon Recreation Area, Spanish Flat Recreation Area, and Putah Canyon Recreation Area,” the bureau statement said.
