CITY Hall has removed piles of used tyres from some commercial centres in Inanam and Likas – as well as villages in Inanam and Manggatal – and warned rate-payers that they could find themselves RM1,000 poorer if they are caught disposing of these items in the common areas at these locations.
THE water supply to parts of Likas has been erratic for close to a week because of damage to some of the distribution mains near the Jalan Tuaran-Jalan Pasir intersection.
A Water Department spokesman said its technicians went to the area on Friday, as soon as the agency became aware of the burst

Kota Kinabalu: A 21-year-old man was charged at the Magistrate’s Court here Thursday with cheating three men with an offer of free mobile phone.
Mohd Nasrulah Aiman pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Stephanie Sherron Abbie to three counts of cheating Mior Zairrel Mior Othman, Yunus Abdul Rajah and Alif Syofee Yunus last year.
The charges stated that Nasrulah allegedly deceived the men into believing of an offer for free iPhone 11 Pro smartphone.

He induced the men to agree to take the offer for the telecommunication service provider smartphone purchase plan with a monthly contract payment of RM190 and a iPhone Pro smartphone of RM174 per month for a period of two years.
