âBanjo-Kazooieâ creator believes âSuper Smash Brosâ could save the series
Could a new entry be in the works?
Banjo Kazooieâs creator Steve Mayles has said that S
uper Smash Bros. Ultimate “could well be the game that saved” the series.
Speaking on Twitter, Mayles discussed his time working on the Nintendo 64 game
Banjo-Tooie and how at the same time âa certain game was released that involved Nintendo characters ‘duking it out’â, referring to
Super Smash Bros on the same console.
Mayles later added that he believes â20 years later it could well be the game that saved
Banjo-Kazooieâ, since the duo were added last year as a playable fighter. He finished with a potential teaser to fans, asking what they expect next year for the âbear and birdâ.
