5 June, ACAMDO, the Asociación Cultural de Amigos de la Música y la Danza de Orihuela, will be at Playa Flamenca
The concert scheduled to be held on Sunday evening on the Playa Flamenca Esplenade was postponed because of the heavy rain and will now be held on Sunday 30 May at 8pm.
Andrea Casanova will feature in the Orihuela Music Festival âMúsica en primaveraâ alongside the Orcelitana Lyrical Union (ULO)
There have now been five concerts organised in the municipality by the Orihuela Department of Culture, in their programme âMúsica en primaveraâ.

The Tournament will now be held on Sunday 5 September.
If you were planning to go to the open-air concert at Playa Flamenca this Sunday evening please take note that has also been postponed and will now be held next Sunday 30 May at the same time.

The secretary of the Torrevieja Local Government Board, Federico Alarcón, reported this morning that last Friday the start of the contract file was approved for the “drafting of the project and construction management, management of work execution and coordination of health and safety of the completion works of the “Pabellón Blanco” of the Torrevieja Sports City.
The tender budget for this contract amounts to 42,350 euro. Federico Alarcón has indicated that the works of this multipurpose sports hall have been paralysed since 2015.
The work, which could begin from July to end in November, includes closing the ceiling of the two rooms on the upper floor, the installation of safety railings on the stairs and the ascent areas to the upper floor. “SINCE the coronavirus it’s been very frustrating from a performance and political point of view,” said drummer and backing vocalist Perren Armstrong, who resides in Orihuela Costa, who has played at Eras de la Sal auditoria and the Palacio de la Musica Theatre in Torrevieja.
“I don’t think the pandemic has been dealt with worldwide in a satisfactory way,” said Perren, who has been in bands, The Faith, Fire & Water, Kolted, Mr Shifty and now The ETM’s. “Musically, the coronavirus has deprived me of what I love doing – playing live music. We are glad to be back on stage after the easing of restrictions.”
