more details. this is a frightening and terrible yet deadly ordeal for some people there. reporter: it certainly is. the rescuers tell us that they have covered the entire 20-mile stretch of riverbank out there. but they know they need to keep going because the conditions out there are so difficult, the vegetation is so dense that they know they could have passed someone right by and missed them. this is the thicket that these searchers and rescuers are trying to get through right now. that s why it s going so slow, cause they re trying to cover 20 miles of this next to the river. the river is about 20 feet in that direction, about ten feet down. you can see now it just swelled up with such force and so quickly that it came up here. things like this camper here was just tossed around like a play toy. anyone inside that camper probably didn t have enough time to get away or know what hit them. those are the people that the rescuers are trying to find right now.
