Everything is getting more awesome at Legoland California. The park is set to open a major addition devoted to the two Lego movies and its characters. Lego Movie World is the largest addition in Legoland California s history.
Visitors will be able to explore the world of Bricksburg with Emmet Brickowski, Wyldstyle, Unikitty and more from the films. They can walk through the streets of the town and explore Benny’s Play Ship or Emmet’s Super Suite Apartment. Opening Date Set for California s The Lego Movie World

The Lego Movie World will open officially at Legoland California on May 27, the resort announced today.
The new land in the Carlsbad park has been slated to open in March of last year, before the pandemic shut down everything. It will be the second installation of the movie-themed land, following the original at Legoland Florida.
Inspired by The Lego Movie and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, Legoland California s installation of The Lego Movie World will feature two new attractions: a flying theater called Emmet s Flying Adventure, known as The Lego Movie Masters of Flight in its original installation at Legoland Florida, and a family drop tower called Unikitty’s Disco Drop.
Now that LEGOLAND California Resort is back open after being closed for 13 months, the family theme park in Carlsbad, CA, is excited to announce the opening of THE LEGO MOVIE WORLD on May 27, 2021. In just one month from today, kids and families will step onto the streets of Bricksburg and experience the Park’s newest and biggest adventure which brings the blockbuster films THE LEGO MOVIE and THE LEGO MOVIE 2: The Second Part, to life.
The new land fully immerses guests into THE LEGO MOVIE universe and features six interactive attractions for all to enjoy. The flagship ride, Emmet’s Flying Adventure, allows guests to hop aboard Emmet’s triple decker flying couch for a thrill-seeking race against his friends.
