tennessee valley and the deep south. nothing terribly severe. here is what we re concerned about. this is from one of our ireporters here. this is out of chattanooga, tennessee. here you can see the flooding rains in the area. he said it only rained for maybe 30 minutes, and that was about it, but it flooded the streets, it came up very, very quickly and, gosh, darn it, the play button just isn t working. sorry about that, but you can use your imagination. you can see the wet streets and how heavy some of that rainfall was across much of the area. let s talk about that heat. temperatures have dropped by as much as ten-plus degrees for you. little rock, yesterday you were 105. today 91. the heat advisory south of you for oklahoma city from dallas over toward shreveport. across parts of alabama all the way over towards charleston. still feeling like 100 to 120 a and the heat will stick around. you will stay nice in the northeast however.
