School lets out at Silvermine Elementary School Thursday, February 6, 2020, in Norwalk, Conn. A number of parents, students and staff came out Wednesday night to make pleas to the Planning Commission to fund certain capital projects. NORWALK After learning a $1.5 million revamp of Silvermine Elementary School’s driveway may no longer be in the cards, parents and local leaders took to a public hearing expressing safety concerns about the cramped pickup and drop-off lane.
