Pupils from Moorlands School with Shannon Stamps
Shannon Stamps, footballer for West Bromwich Albion Women, took up the Planet Super League challenge this week, visiting football fans and pupils at Moorlands Primary School to inspire them to tackle climate change.
It is part of a national challenge launched to encourage football fans to reduce their carbon footprint with the support of Premier League, Championship and League One and Two Clubs.
The sportswoman helped pupils to create football inspired recycling challenges, including a scarecrow goalie and loo roll rangers, as part of West Bromwich Albion’s social action project in conjunction with Planet Super League.
