Right new, caltran engineers are dealing with the disability of a hillside after a rock slide was triggered unnerving the commuters on highway 101 in marin county. Cornell is at the exit where cars were damaged. Scary moments and a car was undriveable after rocks this side and larger came crashing down on to the freeway during the rain. It is not the first time. The morning commute was off to a slow and soggy start with rain a welcome sight but it created a hazard with large rocks and gravel comes down on southbound 101 near the tunnel overnight slamming into several cars.
