Fundraiser for Plain Township Road Department mechanic March 20 The Repository PLAIN TWP. A fundraiser will be March 20 to celebrate the life of Logan Bland, a longtime mechanic in the Plain Township Road Department, according to a news release. Bland fought peritoneal cancer until he died Feb. 22. He leaves his wife of 20 years, Stacy, and three young sons, Evan, Cole and Zachary.  The Plain Township Road Union Local 561, Plain Firefighters Local 2967 and Plain Township Administrative Offices have organized a “Pub Crawl” at Oakwood Square, 2610 Easton St. NE, to help raise money and provide financial support to Bland s family. This event will be from 3 to 7 p.m. with the following lineup for the bar crawl:
