Last week, regional officials for Truckee and North Lake Tahoe announced in a statement “the difficult decision” to cancel celebratory events for the Fourth of July. This is the second year in a row that North Lake Tahoe has canceled its July 4 events because of the pandemic, joining Nevada s North Shore.
