For all the Massachusetts pizza âaficionadoughs,â we have delicious news.
Food and Wine magazine listed Massachusetts as the 8th best pizza state in the country in on Thursday. A number of scrumptious slice options in the Bay State earned a mention, even though the top spot on the list went to New Jersey.

In honor of National Pi Day on March 14, hereâs a look at some of the best pizza pie around. Of course, by tackling this subject, weâre just begging to be smacked with a pizza pan. New Englanders are passionate about pizza: Youâll never convince a Santarpioâs fan that the original Regina is better, or a lover of Sicilian slabs that skinny flatbread is the way to go. We all have our hometown favorites, but where do you go when youâre on the road and you Need. Pizza. Now? Hereâs a look at the slices that keep topping the âbest pizzaâ lists.

A seat at the tables on the first floor of Howe Library has long been a prime UVM study spot. Along the walls of this student hub, in the form of the H. Lawrence McCrorey Gallery of Multicultural Art, the spirit of one of the university’s most respected and beloved professors continues to exert a quiet influence. Established at his retirement in 1995, it’s a fitting memorial for a champion of social justice and a true renaissance man, an accomplished jazz saxophonist who began performing with bands in Camden, N.J., at age 13.
