Pantry stocking has witnessed a surge along with the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic with increased local lockdowns and return of the work from home norms. Several companies which had asked their employees to return to offices have once again enforced work-from-home norms.
Among consumables, frozen foods, biscuits, salty snacks, instant noodles, beverages and edible oils witnessed a surge in demand, according to an Economic Times report.
