Police officers have closed off a building site in Hemel Hempstead this afternoon (February 28) after reports of a suspicious object being found.
Hertfordshire Constabulary confirmed they were on the scene at around 12.20pm.
The object was found on a building site in Pix Farm Lane, in Bourne End.
A cordon has been put in place as a precautionary measure and people are asked to stay away from the area at this time.
