As an example of adjusting spaces and how this affects ticket supply, Saratoga Performing Arts Center recently announced the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s season. The group will perform twice a day, almost every Sunday mid-June thru late-August at Pitney Meadows Community Farm in Saratoga. Seating is limited to 200 people a performance and tickets went on sale to the general public on April 6. The entire series is already sold out.

MALTA The GlobalFoundries-Town of Malta Foundation on Wednesday awarded $142,964 in 31 different grants to benefit community organizations that serve Malta residents and the school districts that serve the town.
While the largest single grant was $16,500 to the Malta-Stillwater Emergency Medical Service for purchase of a ventilator to be available in ambulances, both the Ballston Spa and Shenedehowa school districts each received multiple grants to support STEM learning, robotics and general education programs.
The grants, which were announced during a virtual presentation held Wednesday, are in addition to a $50,000 grant provided in March to help the town of Malta to provide local individuals and families with grocery store gift cards, as the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic first began to emerge.
