his original business plan. murphy, the founder and president of on deck sports started out ten years ago selling one product a light weight artificial pitching mound he invented called a pro mound. i showed them to different indoor baseball facilities around the area i knew would use them and you know, people really started to gain an interest in it. the promounds were a hit with people bik joe lewis of extra innings franchise, an indoor baseball and softball training center with locations all over the country. we met probably in 2004, with our location looking for pitching mounds, and joe came by with this new concept of a light weight pitching mound. we started without a sample and used that for about two or three months. and found out that this was you know, one of the best things available out there in the market. and probably bought another four of them right after that and now
