Family slain in double murder-suicide identified
Sand Springs, Oklahoma (Tulsa World) The victims of Tuesday’s double murder-suicide in Sand Springs have been identified, police said Wednesday afternoon.
David Kaser, 56, fatally shot his two daughters, Clarissa Kaser, 19, and Crystal “Grey” Kaser, 14, before killing himself, according to a news release from police Capt. Todd Enzbrenner.
Clarissa Kaser is a 2020 graduate of Charles Page High School. Grey Kaser was a ninth-grade virtual student at Clyde Boyd Middle School.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the teenagers were shot once each before David Kaser shot himself with the same gun, police said Wednesday.
Officers went to the home in the 3900 block of South Walnut Creek Drive just before 1 p.m. Tuesday after the girls’ mother, who was at work about 20 minutes away, called the police, Enzbrenner said Tuesday at the scene.

SAND SPRINGS, Oklahoma -
The Sand Springs Police Department has released new details in what officers are calling a gruesome triple murder-suicide that happened over the weekend.
Police identified the victims as 41-year-old Anastacia (Stacy) Lynn Smith, her 4-year-old daughter River Gale Ross, and her 2-year-old daughter Piper Ann Ross.
Police said they believe 31-year old Phillip Ross killed his two little girls and their mother, before killing himself.
Chief Mike Carter said this was the worst thing he’s seen in his 28 years in law enforcement. The community is hurting right now because this tragedy not only affects the people that were there, but their loved ones, their friends, their churches. One of the things that makes Sand Springs great is we come together in times like this, said Carter.
