Belarus is interested in supplying quarry trucks to Venezuela, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Parkhomchik said as he met with Venezuela's Vice President – Minister of Planning Ricardo Menendez in Minsk.
“This year we continue the implementation of a project to construct a new bus production facility at MAZ. In order to speed up work on the facility, the government has established a special procedure for the design and construction of the facility, identified the contractor and engineering organization,” Piotr Parkhomchik said.
The withdrawal of suppliers of technological equipment from the Union State market served as an additional impetus for the development of domestic machine-tool organizations, Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Parkhomchik said.
"In line with the draft forecast documents for 2024 the country is set to bolster exports to the Russian Federation by 7% over 2023 and maintain a share in Russian imports of at least 9%. Exports to the geographically distant countries are projected to go up by at least 12%," Piotr Parkhomchik noted.
