LEGAZPI CITY - At least 8,395 students in the Bicol Region will be receiving educational assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development during the payout schedule on Saturday. Marygizelle Mesa, DSWD-5 information officer, said in an interview said Saturday's payout is expected to be more systematic and organized. "Only those beneficiaries who received a text message from our office (DSWD) and some who were contacted by their local government unit with the advice of DSWD will be entertained and received their cash aid. Also, in the upcoming distribution, each province has designated payout venues where beneficiaries could claim the cash grant," Mesa said. In Camarines Norte province, beneficiaries from the towns of Mercedes and Labo will have SM City Daet as the venue.
