The Central Coast Mariners are excited to announce that the Pink Round presented by Cleanaway and the 2021 Pink Appeal raised more than $30,000 for Cancer Council NSW, blowing away an original fundraising target of $10,000.
Held for the ninth year, Pink Round incorporated last Monday’s win against Macarthur, the Pink Appeal held a week prior, and an auction of player worn jerseys from the Macarthur match too.
The final total of $30,412.18 is a record for a Mariners Pink Round, and Cancer Council’s Jaynie Moloney said the money will be vitally important for supporting those with cancer and contributing to research.
