A fire in Bartlett left a home uninhabitable Saturday morning, and one firefighter was injured while responding, according to a Bartlett Fire Department news release.
ASSAULTS: Battle Creek police have reported the following cases:
• A man, 36, was arrested after his girlfriend, 40, said she was assaulted in the first block of Cliff Street at 12:34 a.m. Sunday.
• A warrant is being sought for a man 55, after his girlfriend, 48, said she was assaulted in the 500 block of West Jackson Street at 12:43 a.m. Sunday.
• A man, 59, was arrested after his niece, 19, said she was assaulted in the 300 block of East Michigan Avenue at 9:52 p.m. Saturday.
• A man, 25, was arrested after his child s mother, 30, said she was assaulted in the first block of Merritt Street at 9:26 p.m. Saturday.
