Collin Raye Coming to Texarkana for Hometown Show March 5
Get ready Texarkana because multi-platinum recording artist Collin Raye is coming back for a hometown show at Whiskey River Country on Friday, March 5, 2021.
Raye a DeQueen, Arkansas native grew up in this area and graduated from Texas High. Most of his friends and peers around here gave him the nickname Bubba Wray. From an early age, Collin honed his musical skills by playing at several events including playing regularly at the Pines Country Club back in the day. After many years of doing this, he packed his bags and did what so many other musicians do, headed to Nashville, Tennessee where he eventually landed a record deal. And as they say in the music business, the rest is history. However, Collin Raye never forgot where he came from, and for many years he returned to his hometown of DeQueen for a yearly homecoming show that raised money for charitable causes in his community.
