i m will thomas. gwen talbart is tracking the trouble for us. busy night in the weather center. we ve had strong storms pretty much most of the night. little bit of a break and things fired up again. earlier we had a tornado warning. that expired around 4:30. so far, we haven t heard reports from the national weather service on destruction or any major problems from that particular storm. i want to tell you now we have no watches or warnings, but still have active weather. you can see on our radar the areas getting hit with plenty of rainfall, and there s a fair amount of lightning in it as well. you can see the lightning strikes as this system continues to plow to the east. wind gusty, up to about 30 miles per hour, as the storms continue to move through. hail from a quarter to inch to 1 inch reported tonight, culpepper, downed trees as well in howard and clarke counties. temperatures on the up side and the atmosphere is unstable. few isolated storms and showers tonight. w
