Karen thomas is tracking some dry weather for most of us at the moment, karen. Yeah, at the moment that is how it will play out for our sunday. Hit or miss showers, plenty of gray skies. Live in easton right now and every now and again, just a little peek of sunshine, just trying to poke through the clouds, but the clouds are significant and the overcast skies will stay with us and we are looking for showers to continue. Look at the live doppler radar. We have scattered variety here in terms of rain and drizzle, but then we have heavier moisture back here in the central part of the state just ready to sort of wrap in. It will be broken apart here, but it will be persistent. We are looking for overcast skies to stay with us, and the chance for the on and off showers just moving through the area. The scariest moment of my life. Reporter this woman couldnt hold back tears as she remembered hiding under her dashboard as bullets began flying on pine lane in chester last night. I got shot in my shoulder for something i dont know. Reporter just out of the hospital, she has a bullet under her skin. Her eye is scratched from the broken glass. Someone fired dozens of bullets at adults sitting in a car. The shots hit shiply and two of her teenage relatives. You knew there was kids out there. No remorse, no nothing. They didnt care. Reporter this photo shows the 14yearold dressed up for his formal two days ago. On the left is his 16yearold cousin. Doctors are treating powell for serious injuries. The other young man died last night. Their aunt spoke with us. Im hurting right now. It hurts so bad.
Reporter jim and jacqueline, police are piecing together this hitandrun as we speak. There are officers on the ground a few yards behind me. Withdrew can see them ewe can see them on the other side of the record truck and also officers in the air using the chopper to search for the suspect. We just spoke to the chief inspector in the last 15 minutes. He told us an 18yearold man was walking across old york road here when a white prius came by, speeding, and hit him. Lets go to some video that we shot not too long ago. The impact was so hard, it knocked a young man 30 feet into the air and into a minivan. The driver kept going a couple of blocks. Then they left the car and ran away. Police then found one of the prius that was stolen. The chief inspector says they have a person of interest based on who witnesses say they saw driving the car around the neighborhood. Theyre describing the female as a large female, about 511, maybe 6 feet tall, and heavy set. Possibly 250 to 300 pounds. Long
