NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - In recent weeks, there have been several high-profile crimes, including the shooting death of a 74-year-old woman in her car, and a shooting at Northwoods Mall that left three people hurt. The mayor of North Charleston says he partly blames isolation associated with the pandemic for a recent spike in gun violence.
Mary Hayre was shot and killed while in her car at the Pine Crest Apartments last weekend. Zaswan Rosendary was charged with murder.
