that situation, right? this is the middle of the night in winter haven, florida, right between orlando and tampa. the neighbors hear a loud screech and a crash. they run outside to find what you re looking at there, a car had hit two other cars, it went up and off the road and then it flipped over. and flames begin shooting out. it wasn t quite that bad. the passenger was able to get out, right? but the driver was trapped. so keith ledger was outside, he s got no shirt, he s not no shoes and he realizes he s very short on time, so he begins punching at the windshield. listen. it took me about four or five pinches and i was able to bust through the front windshield of the car. and we were able to get it pulled out and drag her out. you don t really think about it, you just get out there and you do it. reporter: you just get out there and you do it, within 30 seconds that is what the car looked like. it was engulfed. keith ledger as you saw that bandage on his right hand, he suffered
with some of the workers that you were with? have they reported back? have you talked to them? i received a few different e-mails. i got to be really close with about three of them that were basically the ones that stuck me as we were evacuating the area. you know, we spent a couple days together in emergency shelters and i was able to, you know, talk to them and hear how their families were doing and how they handled it. there was a few of the workers that actually live in that town, and iwaki a little farther north. they re concerned about loved ones. just all that devastation and just a lot of concern about their futures ago well. pinches some of these men and women, essentially risking their
pinches, but otherwise no change in his condition. 2006 stroke caused him significant brain damage and comatose. he s moved home in november and is now back in a long-term care facility. and bob dole back in the hospital this morning. the former u.s. senator treated for a fever at walter reed army medical center in d.c., dole issued a statement saying he feels good overall. the 87-year-old in and out of the hospital the past year recovering from knee surgery. meantime, as we look at the sunday weather, rick reichmuth joins us and rick, there s a big storm down south. we have two really big storms we re watching today and more coming this week. here is your temperatures, you ll notice the temps down across the south for 19 degrees right now in atlanta, 22 in memphis and the cold air is in place and colder farther to the north. 0 in minneapolis and a lot going on. this first storm here in the
