Residents are being asked to provide feedback on plans for development in the northeast part of Pincher Creek.
While plans for the area, which is east of Wal-Mart, and north of highway 6 are in the very early stages of development, an area structure plan (ASP) was presented in a virtual open house on Apr. 8.

“Oftentimes when these documents are produced, there’s this feeling that the construction equipment is coming to the site and off we go, but I can tell you that we’re a little bit away from that at this point,” said Brad Schmidtke of Stantec, the company that prepared the plan.
