Romero, “our first quarter performance indicates that we are taking the right steps to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.”

BusinessWorld January 20, 2021 | 12:06 am PILIPINAS SHELL Petroleum Corp.’s solar farm in Tabangao, Batangas has been supplying power to the listed oil company’s import terminal since December, its top executive said on Monday. In a virtual event with reporters, Pilipinas Shell President and Chief Executive Officer Cesar G. Romero said the solar facility, which is part of the import terminal’s integrated energy system, has produced more than 84,000 kilowatt-hours since it was commissioned last month. The integrated energy system is expected to produce around 2,400 megawatts (MW) of energy, which could power more than 850 homes, the company previously said. It would also improve energy efficiency.
