were arrested as the crowd moved from manhattan to brooklyn. some people blocking traffic and refusing to move. two officers were injured one hit with a bottle. arrests on the west coast, about 15 people taken into custody in l.a. blocked train tracks for a couple of hours calling for justice and others who have died at the hands of police. one man has been killed and more than two dozen others injured in a pile-up in utah triggered by a massive dust storm on interstate 80 near the nevada state line. 25 people were injured in the chain reaction that involved at least six tractor-trailers. those heavy winds uprooted trees and forced a standstill at salt lake city s airport. meantime, further west, dust storms triggered pileups in fresno, california, that involved at least seven vehicles. gusts up to 30 miles an hour limited visibility to ten feet. luckily, there were no serious injuries. turn to the east now.
