The new leader of the local mentoring network spent her first few hours in a meet and greet.
Erin Allsop is the new president and CEO of Big Brothers / Big Sisters of South Central Ohio. The organization matches kids who need positive role modeling with adults for one-on-one outings and activities.
After returning from missionary work with college students in Spain, Allsop says she s ready for the role, with 13 years in education - as well as fund raising for the missionary work and overall mentoring with children. A native of Bainbridge, she says being a stay-at-home mom with a cake business is also part of her experience.
