Opera Wyoming is presenting the Keyhole Peepshow at the Bourgeois Pig and the Lyric Theater for a two night affair of the sweet, the sultry, and everything in between.
The Johnson County Fair in Buffalo today will feature swine, goats, rabbits, and the Pig Feed.
Swine Showmanship will begin the morning followed by the Goat Show, with the Rabbit Show in the afternoon.
The Pig Feed, put on the the Buffalo FFA Alumni, will be at 5pm followed by the Pig Show at 6.
Ranch sorting will also begin at 6pm.
Thursday will have the Beef Show, Poultry Show, and rodeo events will feature the all-county roping, barrel racing and pole bending slack, and ladies calf roping/team roping slack/steer roping.
The day will wrap up with a movie in the show ring starting at 8:30.
Fair board discusses 2021 fair schedule

The Great Northern Fair Board detailed the 2021 Great Northern Fair’s schedule at their monthly meeting Tuesday night. Wednesday, July 14, will host the Junior Rodeo with the Midway Amusements Carnival opening at 4 p.m. and running until midnight. Thursday, July 15, will host the Montana State University Open Rodeo along with free entertainment including Patrick the One-Man Circus. Specific times for both of these events have yet to be nailed down, but the carnival will have the same hours as Wednesday, July 14. Friday, July 16, will host the Northern Rodeo Association Rodeo at a yet-to-be-announced time, as well, and Patrick the One-Man Circus at 4 and 7 p.m., along with other free entreatment including the Paz Baseball Show at 1:30, 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., and The Silver Starlets Acrobatic Show at 2, 5, and 8 p.m., with live music by Shake Down Country beginning at 9 p.m.

In addition to welcoming four new board members, the Great Northern Fair Board at its monthly meeting Tuesday discussed proceeding with plans for the 2021 Great Northern Fair. New members are Bob Kaul, Bob Sivertsen, Lex Kellen, and Daryl Wright, who replace the four members who recently resigned, three of whom resigned at the board’s meeting last month. Fairgrounds Manager Frank English said the carnival the Great Northern Fair usually employs, Dreamland Carnival, will not be coming to Havre this year, but he’s been in contact with someone from Midway Amusements who said they would b.
