Following ITV s announcement that Piers Morgan has quit Good Morning Britain following the backlash from comments on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, his co-star Susanna Reid has now been targeted by viewers who have labelled her an enabler and that her days on the show are numbered . News broke of the outspoken host s departure after his heated discussion with weather presenter Alex Beresford on Tuesday s show, which resulted in Piers storming off the set saying, OK, I’m done with this.

It s not in his nature to be a people pleaser, and it s certainly not something he s interested in becoming down the line. I don’t chase around trying to be beloved, it would be a fairly lonely journey if I did, he explained. So, I prefer to be divisive and polarising, and get everybody going and wake everybody up in the morning.
Since joining the flagship new show in 2015, Piers has sparked numerous debates about his remarks on-air, culminating in petitions to have him axed from the show altogether.

Piers Morgan, 55, came under fire from runners on Twitter, after his comments on Monday s Good Morning Britain seemed not to go down too well. The presenter revealed on-air he believes runners should be taking specific steps to help make others feel safer outside, branding them unbelievably selfish as they spit all over everyone when running down busy streets.
