Lagace will replace Arcand at 98 5 FM in 2024

Montreal radio station 98.5 FM announced Wednesday morning that Patrick Lagacé, host of its late afternoon show, will take over from Paul Arcand at the helm of the morning show in just over a year.

Former commissioner Pierre Martineau dies

He was 85. Martineau âwas just a kind-hearted soul,â said Belgrade City Manager Ted Barkley. âHe was kind-hearted when he didnât have to be. He was a good egg.â Barkleyâs memories of Martineau go back to February 2014, when Barkley was new in Belgrade. âHe was really welcoming and wanted to know how he could be helpful,â he remembered. Their âgovernment jobsâ almost overlapped; Martineau had been appointed to fill out the term of Gallatin County Commissioner Bill Murdock from June 2013 to January 2014. At the time, Martineau commented that it would be good for the commission to have a commissioner who didnât live in the Gallatin Valley.
