A letter Raymond Henry Muller left on his stove before he tried to take his own life served not only as a suicide note, but also a confession to the murder of a fellow musician who had been missing for weeks.
Jean-Philippe Lemay, the first Montreal police officer to reach Muller’s apartment on Bernard St. E., described in detail Thursday how he came upon the letter that finally shed light on the disappearance of 39-year-old Cedric Gagnon.
