But now we find out the CBC is bloated, too.
I suppose it would be hard for Mother Corp to be so outrageously expensive if it weren’t also monstrously bloated.
The two go hand-in-hand.
We learned this week in a federal labour ruling written by arbitrator Pierre-Georges Roy, as reported by
Blacklock’s Reporter, that the CBC has seven vice-presidents, 10 directors general and five directors of finance.
Why is this news? Because the CBC has never before divulged so many details about its organizational structure. Even though it is heavily reliant on taxpayers’ money, it doesn’t have to report – not even to Parliament – how many managers and executives it has, what they do or how much they’re paid.
