Emmanuel Macron announces the entry of Missak Manouchian into the Pantheon. He will be accompanied by his wife of 45 years, Melinea. The ceremony will take place on June 18, the anniversary of the start of the Second World War. Missak was one of the last members of the French Resistance to be killed by the Germans. He was shot by the Gestapo on February 21, 1944, at the age of 20. He is the last member of the resistance to be honored in this way.
