Several areas in Barbados are set to be highlighted in the upcoming season of a Netflix series.
Originals Publicity at Netflix, Rae Murillo, said on Wednesday that the filming of scenes for
Outer Banks was under way in the country.
“I can confirm the filming under way in Barbados is for season 2 of the Netflix series
Outer Banks. We aren’t able to share further information at this time, but please feel free to circle back in the coming months for anything further we may have to share,” Murillo told The Nation.

Barbados is the scene of a major television series shoot for popular film and tv streaming service
Netflix.
The team in the month-long shoot which started last week by Crucial Productions/Narrow Isle Productions, LLC will be busy on the set at several locations in The City of Bridgetown between today and Friday.
The television project, which is being undertaken with the backing of the Prime Minister’s Office, will continue filming Thursday along Wharf Road and Shepherd Street.
On Friday, the production team will shoot in the areas of Cavans Lane, Pierhead Lane and the Wharf.
